Just like home, no?

Tartuuu~

Soyeah. Class trip to tartu.

Well obviously I'm going to start from the very beginning and give a detailed description
AND DON'T YOU DARE TO GO ALL TL;DR ON IT !!

EDIT: I HATE YOU BLOGGER I HATE YOU I HATE YOU I HATE YOU! I HAD A FRIKKIN LONG TEXT IN HERE AND YOU JUST DELETED IT AND I TOTALLY HATE YOU RIGHT NOW *headdesks*
stoopid thing.
anyway long story short: 3 hours of sleep then up at 5am, then on the bus, over saaremaa, on the ferry, to viljandi where we stopped for a while to go to the bathroom and stuffs. On with the original post now:
The drive was pretty interesting for us. I mean the only hills we have in saaremaa are about 5 cm off the ground XD
So this was fun.
Sorry bout the poor quality, I was sitting in the third row and it's generally pretty hard to take pictures in a bus.
Anyway. Tartu.
Pretty city. Real Pretty. At first we were supposed to find a place to eat in Tartu but since some roads were close on the way, we were about half an hour late and therefore we had to hurry straight to the museum. Zoology and Geology.
To be quite honest with you, the 3 hours of sleep and 4 hour drive were taking its toll on me and I just opted for quickly looking through the exhibits and then sleeping when the guide was talking. And I forgot my camera into the bus so no pictures.
Then off to Lõunakeskus for something to eat and possibly to some stores. They gave us about an hourto eat and look around. Bambi, Kati and I obviously went straight to the music store and then bookstore after eating. No CDs, but I did get a book.
I have always loved Stephen Kings horror books and I sure as hell hope I'm not going to have to be dissappointed this time. Over 400 pages and it was cheap. Why oh why don't we have bookstores like that in here?
scratch that. Why oh why don't we have bookstores in here?
So after our hour was up, we went to AHHAA center. Lotsa fun.
They had this forest economy exhibition and I must say, it was awesome.
too bad I didn't take any pictures.
that was exhibition number 1.
Next up was an exhibition about climate or something. In there was some helicopter simulation thing. I'd love to upload the movie I made when Kati was trying it out but I'm fairly fond of my life.
And after that darwins exhibition where you could test your reactions and memory. My memory wan't all that good but I'm officially the reaction queen with a score of 79.
The score might not tell you much but I just had to post this here to make sure I won't forget it.

ahem.
Others went to 4D cinema but I was still pretty sick from the bus ride so I opted for staring blankly at the skaters.
Then we had more time to shop and stuff and then they took up to the jailhouse.
I mean schoolhouse. Tartu Descarte'i lütseum. Or something like that.
at first when we got there I thought it looked pretty horrible.
Then they took us inside.
So obviously they were scared we are going to break their classrooms so they took up to the old gym
Underground.
The door outside had to be locked at all times and there were EFFING BARS IN FRONT OF IT.
The mats we were to be sleeping on might as well be concrete floor because one thing they were not was soft. atall.
It might not look like that, but the place was scary as hell.
also I didn't take pictures of the really scary way in which was a series of NARROW, PITCH BLACK, DIRTY concrete corridors.
it looked like an effing prison.
Made me wanna run out screaming.
Anyway, the teacher gave us about 3 hours of free time and Bambi, Kati and I took off. First we went to Eeden, some supposed store nearby. It was about as nice as the school so not wanting to go back to that dungeon... I mean school, we walked to Tasku. It was awesome. For us, hillbillys that was like heaven.
And then, after spending lots of time in Rahva raamat there, we went to Tartu kaubamaja to check out the Apollo and possibly look for another music store. There is a disturbing lack of music stores in Tartu. At least in the places we went to.
And then back to that horrorhouse and I won't even bother correcting myself, we had to try and sleep.
Jeebus it was impossible.
first of all the floor was so notsoft that basically every position hurt.
...And get yo mind out of the gutter people!
Anyway it was also cold so during those 4 or so hours I actually managed to sleep, I was slowly inching closer to bambi, who was inching away from me, closer to Kati, who was also inching away from her until her head came in contact with the metal foot of the bench.
When I woke up, I was about 30 cm from the place I fell asleep.
And the pillow I had was so small that I spent half the night sleeping on the floor. Que the horrible headache for the rest of the day.
Official wake-up was 8am.
I woke up around 6:30 and never fell asleep again because people started talking and laughing and someones alarm went off and so on.

Then they took us back to Eeden so we could eat and then we went to the city center to walk around and stuffs.
We went to Vanemuine to kick those gong thingies there...
Posed with important people...
Looked at the university...
Where, by the way, I managed to take a picture of Aili.
Anyone who has ever tried to take a picture of Aili should be impressed right about now.
Sorry, Aili, but I just had to put it up.
It's so rare, I can't go without showing it off.
anyway.
Then we climbed up to that church thingy and stuff. Everything you would exect a bunch of tourists to do.
Moar pictures? Here.
Then we went to Elistvere Animal Park, where I met up with some long lost relatives
Like my uncles Tõnu and Mihkel
Their wife (it's complicated) Mari, who had to be separated from them to stop multiplying
And her children: Juku, Juhan, Juula and Jaanus.
Don't you just love family reunions?
Well for some reason all the animals in the park were having a siesta, so basically they were all sleeping. Even the lynx, whose ass I managed to capture on a photo.
There.
I should prbably get the framed.
Moar pictures? If you didn't check this, then do it now.
Also I forgot to mention that before Elistvere, we went to Tasku and Taru Kaubamaja again and I gots me two more books:
Percy Jackson: Titan's curse.
It's the third book from Percy Jackson series if I'm not mistake. The first book, Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief was made into a movie and Bambi bought that, so I figured I might as well take some other part of the series so we can switch later.

And the third book was this: Worlds most interesting encounters with aliens. Three 300+ page books.
At least I won't be bored anymore.

And yeah, then we came back
ooh also, when we got to Virstu, guess what ferry was awaiting us? Saaremaa. The same ferry that is having it's first official ride today. There were just so many people yesterday that they decided to have it go back and forth a couple of times unofficially.
Anyway, I'm not going into details about how awesome and whatnot it was. You can probably read about that in all ym classmates blogs.
I personally think that it was not such a big deal but whatever.
Soyeah. that concludes that trip and I shall now bless you all with Some awesomesauce music I found a couple days ago

MIKAAAA!!! ♥
His new songs are love.
just sayin'

I so wish I could have found his new CD in the stores...
*sigh* maybe I'll have better luck in Finland.
Anyway. Bye-bye for now!

Never go to bed mad. Stay up and fight.

Art... sort of XD

Okay so Kairi, I remember you wanted me to upload pictures of stuff I have drawn
Well you got it. Art a la Kelly.
Fresh (sort of) from the art class xD
Don't tell you I didn't warn you though. u_u

Yeeeah... Sügismaru B) I think it's perfectly fitting to the topic, well drawn and colourful.
the teacher didn't think so XD
And if Bambi happens to read this I have one word for you: Taanlane. I just saw the rain thing and thought of that.
Bwahahaha

anyway.

This. Is. Freakin. Hilarious. Everything from the face to the flipping knees is completely hilarious. but the bunny is cute n_n

I do believe I called this masterpiece the Kõõrdsilmne tüdruk
or something like that. Her eyesight wasn't supposed to be crooked, but ohwells x))))

Also when it comes to me, you can't not talk about maths class masterpieces. It's when I'm at my best.
anyway
Bambi&Batons productions has over the year come up with these masterpieces:

The Strawberry Republic Extraordinaire.

Of course there has to be the Stargate command inside a mountain. Mountain = SGC. It's a known fact.
Where there's some big ailien hunting faciliti like the stargate command, there has to be evil guys. In fact we have a whole factory of evil.
AND Pirates. NO LAKE IS COMPLETE WITHOUT PIRATES.
don't you forget that u_u

A flying pink fish. Nuff said. A flying pink shark to be precise. Or maybe a piranha. One can never be too sure. But since there is a Stargate Command, there obviosuly has to be an Ascended Being somewhere nearby. That glowing squid sorta thing is supposed to be just that. And a plain that's about to crash into the mountain. There was also a flying carpet but it's a bit higher so you can't really see it.
Why this picture is refusing to be upright is beyond me. Anyway you can see the Strawberry King and Queen just aswell. And a bomb. Why is there a bomb next to them? Well how the heck am I supposed to know?
geesh.

LOOK! IT'S A STIcK FIGURE hOLDING ONTO A DOZEN BALLOONS FLOATING OFF! YAY!
And a Strawberry Bird. With tiny wings and a giant hairy beak! So awesome. Above all that you can see a space gate and a Rocket exiting atmosphere. Yeeeeaaaah.

Also on the picture is a space ship, a giant Strawberry Castle, a tiny Strawberry house and straberry fiel next to it, A strawberry car and an egg with rockets on either side of it.
Awesome.

On to the next picture.

Now this. This was made during that lecture about fish and gas pipes I mentioned a month or so ago in my post KITTY! I think it was that post.
anyway. I was terribly bored soyeah.
It was made with a pencil so the quiality isn't very good and it's pretty hard to notice but yeah. There is a pirate again. a boat and the caption reading Ma purjetan kollasel merel...
Next to it is a character from Hetalia. Belarus if I'm correct.
Courtesy of Bambs.

It's a ghoul ^-^
sort of. And a mill. And the tail of a fish! ♥
yeeeeahhh.

Loch Ness monster. again, courtesy of Bambi. Caption reading Nessie♥ The Loch Ness Monster sorta Nessie.
Breaking Dawn completely ruined Nessies Reputation in my humble opinion
Now every time I hear Nessia I immediately think of that abomination described in Stephenie Meyers Book of horrors. The whole birthing scene in Breaking Dawn?
Geesh. Neverending nightmares. And to think that girls worship such a thing? *shudder*

Becuase that is the sorta thing I'm best at when it comes to drawing.
Iunno, I just am.
There is also a candle that is outside the frame so you just have to take my word that it exists.

Also on the picture is a hat, two versions of the bridge between Saaremaa and mainland, my version and Bambis version, a boat and a flower.
And more fish.
And a sun ♥

And last but not least: My sorta art. Made during English because that is the one class during which I can draw and colour random pictures and nobody cares.

Drawing this? Almost therapeutic.
Also if you have looked at the pictures of my Poster Wallpaper, you will see one where I have the lyrics for Youth of the Nation written out and it is decorated with the same Rose vine sorta thing. This one has a locked heart hanging from the end as a bonus.
And well when it comes to art a là Kelly, this is the best I can do. I did warn you that I can't draw.
Anyway. I hope this gave you a laugh.
Well at least made you smile. If I have achieved that, I can go to bed happily.
When it comes to art I prefer to stay at Writing and I'm not all that good in that either. I have been writing a story.
Not a fanfiction this time. Just a story.
But I've hit a brick wall and it's pretty much darker that I'd like to admit so for the time being it'll stay hidden in my livejournal account. For friend eyes only. And I only have Bamb as a friend on LiveJournal so that's that xD
Maybe one day x)

So basically yeah. Nighty night all and just as a side note, if I haven't mentioned this already I will be going to Tartu on 16th and I will be back on 17th so I will be unreachable for the time being.
Thankfully you don't have my phone number.
Which might not be such a good thing if I manage to get lost xD
ohwells.
nighty night all!

Lemony goodness

I love lemons.
seriously. I find them delicious.
and for all those fanfiction peoplez out there, I mean the yellow, sour fruit that Dr. Rodney McKay is allergic to. Not... Well you know what I mean.

Don't ask how I can just take a whole lemon and eat it. With no sugar or anything like that added.
Of course grapefruit is also love.
And oranges and...
Any sort of sour citrus fruit and I'm in.

Also as you may have noticed I changed the blog layout again. They put the design option back up so I thought what the heck, I might as well try and make my blog a bit faster again.
So I hope it works.
I think it did anyway. The whole thing seems lots faster.
Also the sayatme thing is right over there, in the sidebar.
feel free to say something at me.
completely anonymously.

And yeah I'm done talking now.
tupsu tadaa!
-Kelly

Orage you glad I didn't rick roll you again?

Baden: I’ve done everything I could to achieve peace with you.
Nola: Really?! Such as?
Baden: I sent gifts of goodwill.
Nola: [horrified] You sent crates of citrus fruit! Citrus! Do you have any idea what an insult that is to my people?!

OPA!

I gots meself an awesomesauce new computergame.
bought it from shockwave.com
and the awesomesauce game is this supernew game that was released like a week ago or smth and it's called the deadtime stories.
Superawesome. Even though I have probably used my quota of the words "super" and "awesome" but they just fit so perfectly.
Supergreat graphics and superawesome +interesting plot.
More information here.
The only sad thing is that it is too easy to solve and wayyy too short.
but it only cost 8$ so I'd say it's to be expected.
anyway. The end of the game says that join us next time for another story from our vaults, so I'd like to think there's going to be Deadtime stories 2 as well.

Also like yesterday or the day before that I was extremely bored (suprise-suprise) and so I started crocheting. took me a couple of tries to get it right seeing as I haven't done this in a long while but I'd say that the end product came out wayy better than I expected.
Well see for yourself:

Don't look at the leaf too closely. To say that it's half-assed would be an understatement of the year.
I have no idea what I did, it just sorta happened.
But other than that, I think it came out grrreat.

I also started making an apple.
but it ended up as a tomato. I think I'll put the picture to my handcrafts blog whenever I have finished sewing on the leaves that are ever worse than the one on the pear.
This one is made with a prettty thick thread and therefore the weirdness of it is pretty invisible. The ones on the tomatoes are made with the same thread I used to make the pear.
ohwells xD

Also after an incident involving Ella, my hand and a vacuum cleaner from Hell, my hand now looks like this:
it's a lot more painful than it looks.
Ella sure has sharp nails, and when scared, not afraid to use 'em.

Anyway. One of the topics I forgot last post was the fact that I went to the county governors reception and got me a prize for being SUCH AN AWESOME PERSON
well okay it was for frst place in English olympian but same difference.
I thought that I was gonna get something stupid for a prize. Like some boring book or something like that.
But they actually decided to be awesome this year. And look what I got meself:
It's a giant chunk of glass shaped like number one
AND I FOOKINN LOVE IT!
no seriously it's awesome. Muuuuch better than the lame books bambi got last year.
But of course this years prizes were much better. I was there.
Kay enough with the ego-fest.

I'm not sure but I think this is it for now. I'll probably remember in a while that there was something else I wanted to talk about but that'll have to wait.
Just look at those greece guys dancing and let alllll your worries float away...

ALSO. An awesome comic from the most awesomest comic drawer you will ever see: Eurovision 2010 by *humon on Deviantart
I strongly recommend you read the rest of her comics "Scandinavia and the world" Freaking hilarious.
oh and don't forget to read the authors notes. Valuable history lessons.

Now I'm done talking.
--Kelly
People don't dream [in Estonia]. People don't have dreams. When your kid wants to be a superstar in America, the whole family supports the kid. If someone has talent it's appreciated and recognized. But in Estonia people will say: What, do you think you're better than us? We here, we are miserable, you're gonna be miserable too, because nobody can be different.

Linktastic!

Elo! Vhat iz thiz interezting plaze I've ztumbled upon, hmm? It zure doez look like zome blog zhat hazn't been updated in a vhile. Vell it'z a good zhing I don't ovn a blog then. heh-heh-heh.

Well let's see. Where should I start?
Let's start with the kitchen. Namely the redecoration that my dad did.
Well you see when I went to bed on a quiet friday, some weeks ago the kitchen looked like it always did. Something like this:
This is the best and only picture I could find. Frankly the kitchen is nat a part of the house I like to take pictures of.
Anyway if you imagine yourself to be standing where I was standing when I took the pciture then the table would be left of you and the door to my room would be about two meters behind you. Something like that.
Anyway, when I went to bed that evening the kitchen looked like that. Nothing odd.
When I woke up, it was on it's way to looking like this:

Well it was a lot messier, one of the cupboard was on the other side of the room, there was no table, the chairs were scattered around but you get the picture. In the middle of it all was my dad with a happy smile, exclaiming that "mom is in Tallinn!" My initial reaction was to close the door, wait three seconds and open it again. The picture didn't change. Then I pinched myself.
and indeed, I was awake. Sometimes I truly think that people around me are insane. In fact they probably are.

Next topic: Spring

Though to be quite honest I think we skipped it.
Or well after winter we went straight to summer for a week or so. And then summer stopped and spring came. Now we are back to summer. But my point is that winter ended, so cue the flowers, right? ^-^
I must say, there aren't many things that are prettier than blossoming apple trees, covered in white.

For a gazillion pictures and then some, visit fotoalbum. The folder under which they all are is Kevad/suvi 2010.

Soyeah.
Oh and in case anyone happens to be wondering then some of the pictures from there are big enough to work as desktop wallpapers. Not all of then but some. If someone really is interested (I don't see why they would be) then I can also tell you which ones.

Anyway. On to the next topic which just so happens to be mentioned in the post title: Link-dump!

Compiled list of interesting links.

Fotoalbum- Self-explanatory. My username there is still perekonnakas.
Aili's Blog- For Kairi's sake, even though I'm sure you would have spied it out on your own, if you haven't already XD
Save The Words- I took the liberty of taking this from Ailis blog. It really is an awesome page. Basically it's a bunch of words that aren't used anymore. On the page you can 'adopt' the words by promising to use them in everyday conversations as often as you can.
Online English dictionary- A link that I use frequently to check some words meaning, spelling or pronouncation. Just type in the word you are looking for and it gives you the meaning, spelling, similar words, feature through which you can listen to a disembodied voice say that word in either british or american english and some more information. Immensely useful.
Six Billion Secrets- A very sad, sweet, sometimes funny page where people can post their secrets. Every day best ones are put up.
Gives Me Hope- The official introduction is that it's FMyLife for optimists. Basically a page where people can post little stories that have happened to them that give them hope.
Love Gives Me Hope- Same as gives me hope, just love stories. Stories that make you go Awww...
Omg Facts- Every day new interesting/odd/cool/funny facts are added.
Saves Watts- Google search on a black background to save watts, because black bacground uses less energy than white.
My Life Is Average- Funny stories that have happened to people.
Neopets EESTI Board- Hinthint winkwink nudgenudge to Aili. Just sayin'.
Tons Of Jokes- Speaks for itself.

Final topic of the day: Ella.

Were you expecting something else?
Annnyway this time it's really simple and comes with music:

-Kelly

You think it'll last forever. The people, and cars, and concrete. But it won't. Then one day it's all gone. Even the sky.

~The doctor. (Doctor Who season 1, episode 2 "The end of the world")
