It's 2011!! Still!
So I was scrolling through my old posts. Starting from last Januray and found a post of all the things I was amazed about and felt the need to comment now, even though I'm about a month late but whatever. Here it is.
The original post was January 4, 2010.
It is quite obvious that when I started this little, project shall I call it, I was way more willing to post I guess. Or y'know, had more time. Of course back then I did believe this to be like my usual project doings: couple of months tops and then I get bored. Somehow though, I went all the way up to 80 posts in 2010. Let's see if I can keep up the pace in 2011.
Well that hasn't changed. I mean the no life part. I did today go to this multymedia theatre thingymabob but going out once hardly counts as a life.
Well, past me, you will have a wonderful Christmas in 2011. I am amazed though that I survived New Years this year. I guess it's sort of a tradition to try and drown yourself in a glass of kids' champagne and hope to achieve some sort of happy state thanks to the sugar.
Dude, 2011, wat? Bambs and I were listening to music from her phone and some old track came up from the eighties. And that was like, 30 years ago! wtf?
DD: graduation, exams, changing schools... all the good stuff is yet to come I guess...
Heh... that really hasn't changed in a year. My music consumption now has diminished and I've moved back to some form of pop but rock still dominates my MP3 and the rest is just really weird songs from artists nobody knows. Or really old songs.
Holy mother of stargate. one and a half years now... Now /that's/ something I thought I wouldn't see.
Of course it's really not what it used to be (for like a month or so when we started) but hey, we keep in touch.
That spring, almost two years ago is still the last time I had my vision checked but honestly I continue to see wayyy better than some certain people I know...
But my computer time continues to be 8+
Or well, now maybe less seeing as I have more lessons and school lasts longer.
As for the rest of my blog in 2010, I don't doodle on my maths notebooks anymore. ot as much, anyway because maths lessons tend to be more interesting if you actually have something to do and you understand the subject.
I miss ski camp, I wish it would happen once a year, every year. Was amazing. I still haven't gone skiing this year, though.
I sort of liked the quotes at the bottom of the pages, maybe I should start this thing up again. Although it was sort of a pain to search for them.
Music to go with posts is always good, it makes you remember certain stuff. To read the post and listen to the song or watch the video and immediately remember exactly what was going through your head at that moment.... it's bliss.
My room is still a mess but I cotinue to keep my books carefully filed away. Books tend to be more important than trivial things, like food and breathable air.
That story I was supposed to type up in march, 2010? Lol.
I still procrastinate a lot. I still leave things undone and then complain when it ends badly. it's sort of what I do. But hey, I haven't fallen into that great deep pit of darkness I was in last year around this time (or well in march but I'm hoping to steer clear of that this year). Yet.
Like for example, tomorrow I have a maths test. And I just cant bring myself to study. And then this russian thing that I can't do and I'm screwed if she asks me. BUT OHWELL. My sanity gets me lots farer (wat?) than knowing what a tap is in russian (It's rakovina by the way. I think)
Katja is still cute and Enter the Ninja is still the creepiest song ever.
I proudly say I don't play FarmVille anymore. Or go on facebook for that matter. Only to wish people happy birthday occasioanlly and post some things I feel the world (or rather my list of contacts) needs to know.
I'm still obsessed with stargate and dr who. And sanctuary and ncis and all those others.
I wish I could pwn something this year aswell. With me to all the olympiads has been Kati who just keeps going in, coming back saying all ohgosh I did so bad I'm going to lose and then she's like second or something and I'm sixth. fuuuuu...
I WANT MY RED STREAK BACK!!!
Ella is still muymuy cute.
Stargate is still the coolest thing ever. Since y'know sliced bread.
Dr who is still awesumesauce and new season should start very soon. YAY!
I still think I look awesome with a pen drawn 'stach. And i'd still date myself. Cause, y'know I'm still awesome.
I continue to suck at arts.
Citrus fruits are still superawesome. Mom also discovered Pomelos so now we eat those like bread or something.
I love my blog. For several years now when I look back, I remember nothing for nothing ever really happened but now, now I have the chance to go back, relive the moments in pretty good clarity. So what I'm saying is that I'm not likely to end this thing any time soon. And y'know if I'm too slow on posting feel free to poke me.

I'm amazed at myself. I really am. For many reasons. First of all I'm amazed that in four days I have made four blog posts.

Lolwat?
So I gots my computer back.
I gots it back but there be nothing on it.
Dad pulls everything off and puts new windows on.
and with it, picasa and some other minor things cause apparently he has nothing better to do with his time
anyway. Picasa. The reason I'm here. Apparently that picture editing software has some nifty triats.
Like the one that I like the best - directly putting stuff to blogger. Without even having to open anything else. Just choose the picture, click blig this! and voila, here I am.
Of course that's ot the only thing it does.
it also has this little thing called face recognition. It can tell me where my or anyone elses fayce on in a picture and then I can create a new folder for everyone and quicly and easily find all pictures containing said person.
It's taking forever but it's reallysupercool
if a bit creepy.
I know that you are probably thinking that greeeaaaaat now it's gonna be another billion page long post with gazillion pictures but apparently I can only add one picture at a time. dammit.
Anyway I also don't have any new pictures, because I'm lazy.
So this is gonna have to do.

The snow... it's melting!!
RANT CORNER!
Yes. It's really finally happening.
Aaand I hate it.
Or well not the melting part. That's awesome because less snow = more happy for Kelly
But rather the everything-is-covered-in-water part.
Let's start off with school, shall we?
Getting there is quite the gamble. Best case scenario you get there with wet feet and clothes because cars really don't bother slowing down when passing by you. Who cares that you're only 10cm away?
Worst case scenario you end up in the hospital because one of those aforementioned cars drove over you.
greeeeaaaat.
Then you get to school, have to take the long way in because the backdoor is closed for some silly reason like ginormous amounts of snow falling off the roof or something.
And then you get to the basement where our lockers are and the floor there has a good 2 cm of water, happily sloshing away at our feet. just lovely.
And then, when I finally get back home, our driveway has turned into a death trap.
See that? That's 13 meters of pure ice, covered in water. A broken bone just waiting to happen.
But if it continues to melt at this rate (and I sure as hell hope it is) I might just get through this winter without having to go skiing atall! WOO!!!
Which brings me to my next point.
Olympiads. Ohdearlord.
Sobasically I won Chem's school wide thing, right? And going to the county-wide thing. Which is this weekend (OMFGFSKJFRIGJFKG)
And I'm pretty sure I'll fail miserably but whatever.
Then when that's done, on 4th of February (wtf, when did february get so close?) I hae the Ühiskonnaõpetuse crap. I don't even know why I signed up for that...
Then at some point in february is Biology county. And then English.
Which to come to think of it, should conclude my olympiads butstill.
Also my schedule is crazy.
Today I had 8 lessons, ÜKO thing and then Chem. Tomorrow I'll have eight lessons (double maths and estonian, eugh.) test on Ekke Moor which I still havent finished and probably never will, more chem and after school I have to write a bloody speech for estonian.
thankfully though, on friday I have sweet freedom.
Also I love it how I just turned page on my dayplanner and the first thing to catch my eye is the new ncis episode on tuesday, called "freedom". Amazing.
Anyway

Of course, not everything about winter is bad. Most of it is, but there's still that 1% of pretty.

So one day mom just decided that ohai, let's make some candy by dunking almonds and dried peaches and stuff into melted chocolate and now I feel obligated to share some pictures from that particular chocolatey perfectness

It officially being new year for me now (yes, one of the first things I did was wish happy new year to my parents, bambs, facebook and then I came here. whatever.) and the fireworks super-annnoyingly cracking away right outside the window, I find it appropriate to say
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
And then right after that, suprisingly a HAPPY BIRTHDAY is due. If someone had two years ago told me that I would start writing a blog about my life for all of four readers, and continuously do so for the entire year I would have... well I have no idea what I would have done but I'd have been sceptical about it.
But I did it. So again, happy birthday to my lil blog.
and thanks to those aforementioned four or so people. There might be more but I certainly don't know of them. If they do exist, maybe they would be so kind as to let me know through the comments section, thankyou.
Anyway. 2011.

it's all going to be so exciting for the lack of a better word.
