Hai.

There are about 10 things I should be doing right now but I can't just throw away my title as the princess of procrastination.

So I guess I owe you some pictures...

soo... I'm not going into Kaidas stay here some time ago. We had fun and stuff. I'll just put some pictures from that time here.

Winter is only good for two things: Amazing pictures and white christmas.

Coolest picture EVER.

Uhm... so Lucky looks extremely abused on this picture and I know it... HE JUST NEEDED SOCKS, KAY? HIS BACK LEGS KEEP SHVERING AND IT'S SAD TO SEE. And the coat he needs to wear in order to not freeze to death. But only outside, obviously. Also you must admit that those socks are kyoo-oo-oot. But it didn't work out anyway cause they keep falling off.
dammit.

Last but not least, a friendly teeth-baring competition.
Friendly.

So that comcludes that week.

We also decorated the house and the town christmas tree was put up and stuff.
also, I just love fotoalbum right now:
The second one is obviously the town tree but it's hilarious anyway.

After that everything sort of passed in a manic pre-christmas haze and then, on the 21st of December was the class christmas party that I at first decided to skip altogether but Kati managed to make me come. And then I convinced Birgit.
The theme thingy was MTV something-something.
And anyway I won't mention who I went as seeing as I don't resemble her in the least but if you want to try and figure it out then I wll tell you that I posted a picture of her in the recent months.
But to get the overall look then I got Birgit to do my hair for me and god did I love it.
Impossible to get out later, but soo worth it.

After the party. I just love that picture for some reason.

A better shot of the hair. If you want to see more then Fotolbum, a link to which is conviniently on the sidebar somewhere over there -->
username perekonnakas and the album name is Jõulud & Aastavahetus '10-'11
Anyway, the party was nothing special whatsoever. Ohwell.
Anyway big thanks to Birgit once again. That was awesome.

On the 22nd mom and I made gingerbread cookies.
And we made a lot.
A. Lot.

I never want to make cookies myself ever again.
EVER.

Anyway here are some of my favourites.

Gingerbread butts with sugar panties. *would like to point out that Kelly had nothing to do with the creation of that abomination and opposed it entirely. It was all mom, believe it or not. Facebook... *shakes fist**
Toomas-Hendrik Ilves

Pair of sunbathers

Aand that brings me to today. Here I am, sitting with a giant scarf tightly around my neck seeing as it probably got a cold or something and now hurts like hell and the scarf stops me from moving myself too much.
I saw Aili on ETV, because there was a documentary thing about her. Jõuluks Koju I believe was it called.
So if any estonians are interested there should be a rerun soon X)
and seeing as it's ETV it might be up on etv2 homepage too.
anyway. I managed to finish Kajas christmas present, mom is giving it the finishing touches now and you will see some pictures when the christmas is over.

And that's it.
Merry christmas everyone!
and I shall take my leave with this gif:

fuckety fuckety fuck fuck.

Hai.
It's me.
again.
posting from my laptop
because my desktop went completely haywire and has decided to make my coputertime a living hell by restarting at the worst times possible.
Just goes to prove that I repulse technology.
No, I'm serious. Nothing even remotely mechanical survives for long around me and I don't even have to /do/ anything to it.

Take, for example my phones. I have about 4-5 phones lying around that have broken down for various reasons. And by various reasons I mean that they just suddenly stopped working. It's not like I threw them at a wall or anything.
seriously.

My current laptop: worked fine until Kaja got a new one, gave me this one and suddenly... all kinds of problems. Just lately it somehow decided to delete all IP address thingies for no reason whatsoever. The repairshow has no explanation seeing as no virus was found.

My desktop hasn't had any problems until I got it. Started restarting, was sent to the repair shop, they looked at it, scraped some dust off something, charged us major amounts of money and literally a day after I got it back, it restarted again, out of nowhere.

Mom's laptop didn't last a week before going crazy and having to be sent to the shop a total of 5 times if I'm correct. Now it's just wayyyyyy too slow to be normal.

My MP3 is suprisingly healthy except you can't put it on shuffle or it'll go insane.

Our last camera just suddenly stopped taking photos.
or well, rather it stopped taking clear photos. If you take my profile picture and enlarge it to the size it usually is you notice that the background is all fuzzy and looks like I've done some major retouching to it for some reason.
I haven't, it's just how all pictures look when taken with out old camera.
My new baby that I use for my pictures, however is completly fine (for now), thankyou.

Of course, fact is that all the things that I have brought out as examples have been hand-me-downs, other than moms laptop and that camera, so some of these could be labeled under natural wear-and-tear but come on!
the amount of stuff that has died and gone to mechanical hell arond me is riddiculous.
The more you look at it, the crazier it gets...

And I know I said I'd post pictures and shit at some point but... I'm just not in the mood. Sorry.
You'll probably hear from me again when I get my Estonian and Chemistry olympiad results.

until then...
bye.

Still coughing!
Working at the countryside!
Time for bed!

so in the meantime just take this extremely BAMF picture of me instead.

EDIT(5.12.2010): I swear, I'm going to end up in history as the first person to ever cough up her lungs. Or possibly internal organs.

Also it's really nice to read stuff about people dying while coughing while you yourself have been lying in bed for the past two days, doing exactly than... Scary stuff.

Christmas and stufffffff

Estonia vs Liechtenstein today. Didn't see the first half (THANKS, BAMBS) and the second half was a bust. Ended with a 1-1 draw.
boo.
anyway.

Christmasssss is coming up.
and I need to
  • bully Kaida into telling me what she wants for christmas
  • Cross-stitch some little christmas picture thingies for christmas cards (Yes, I'm hand-making mines this year. Maybe. Hopefully. If I have time...)
  • Think of what I want for christmas this year
  • Crochet a Xmas gift for Kaja this year
  • Learn how to crochet
Not necessarily in that order.

I also have to work on my handcrafts sweater that we need to be knitting and I haven't been doing it at home. Atall. Meeeeeh.
I want to do (most) of my christmas gifts by hand this year (haha, did it last year, too.) but geeeeesh I don't have the timeeeeeee.

Gah, someone is mass-reporting the new NCIS episode on Megavideo... Give it a rest, you'll never weed out piracy and online movie-watching anyway.
Which might sound ignorant and crap but seriously, I'm just a big fan and I wouldn't get to see the episodes for another couple of years and quite frankly, I just want to watch it.
If you are worried that the sales of the DVDs and stuff are going down then think of it this way: you watch the episodes on TV and then buy the DVDs anyway if you like the show
IT'S EXACTLY THE SAME THING.
I watch it online, I like it, I would buy the boxed set if it were to be on sale here. It isn't.
If it finally comes back on TV, I'll probably watch it occasionally aswell.
Online piracy is bad but then again so is underage drinking and despite everyones best efforts, people are still doing it.
Give. it. a. rest.
And besides, I /am/ ignorant.

In other news...

...there are no other news.
Oh, right. School theater night tomorrow, I'll let you know how badly we failed. Tomorrow.
Or maybe the day after that.

Bye!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Premiere

I found the pictures from the premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. And thought I might aswell share with you the highlights.
In my humble opinion of course.

First of all. Emma Watson in 2001:
Emma Watson in 2010:
HOLY FRELL O_O
'nuff said.

Radcliffe and Grint, looking stupid as always.

Sorry 'bout the size and quality, Paint isn't exactly the best thing since sliced bread.
Also, Clown!Death Eater ftw!
I liked her better, when she was younger. She looks so .. awkward now.

O_O wtf?

Her hair renders your argument invalid... whoever she is.
Can I just /be/ her? I mean she played Bellatrix so spot on that... I doubt that there's anyone in the world who could do it better than her.
Ooh, look! A pig in a dress! (I'm sorry Imelda Satunton, but you'll be forever known to me as that-bitch-Umbridge-from-Harry-Potter)

Domhnall Gleeson (Bill Weasley), fresh out of his cave.

And last but not least:
I just love Harry Potter fans... Awesomest costume, ever.

Can't wait to actually see that movie. Wikipedia says it cuts off just as Voldemort gets the elder wand from Dumbys grave so it's not as major cliffhanger as I thought it would be.
and then part two will come next year in july or something and then - bye-bye harry potter movies!
;~;

Woo! Youtuuube.

So I've spent my day on youtube. Entire day in that awesome place, where people upload videos about themselves or some crap they like, others will watch it, occasionally rip off the background music on some illegal webpage that converst youtube videos to mp3 files and then comment on it.

Noactually that is mostly a lie.
My day started by mom barging into my room about something random, me thinking that ohmygod, it'sfinallysaturday, I'mnevergettingup.
Also, does anyone know how to get rid of that new search thingy on google? The one where like 20 pages automatically pop up and crap? I mean I get that the whole idea behind it is that the computer can search for keywords and stuff faster than I can type and when it starts looking for it /while/ I type, it would, theoretically save me time but the fact is that for one I type way faster than my internet connection can allow the results to appear and the whole billion-results-on-one-page thing just adds about 5 minutes to every fucking picture search. So if anyone knows how to go back to the original. I'd love you forever.

That didn't really work out as Ella decided to scratch my hands raw and Birgit called and shit.
Anyway after that my dear friends Kati and Birgit came over, we traded our writing masterpieces, talked about our mad skillz, ate, laughed, played bubble struggle and magically. The day was suddenly over.
Before they left, however, she showed me this youtube dude who does vlogs and youtube videos and so on. So after they had left, I started watching his videos and here I am.
Stuck with a sudden urge to write in my blog.
For a second I started going all ohmygod why aren't I doing vlogs?
And then, I remembered that I'm only funny-ish-sorta when I'm typing.
so blogging it is.

Also, uploading a ton of photos to blogger is not exactly the easiest thing to do when your computer is about as fast as a snail on drugs.
Or, like, a very drunk snail.
Ready to topple over in some bush nearby.

In this case, imagine that my coputer is the turtle and google image search is the snail. Witty, no?

Okayso I need something to talk about.
Umm... there's a football match on wednesday? Estonia vs Liechtenstein. That how you spell that town?
I swear, whoever thought it up must've been high.
"Oooh, duuuuuude we should, like totally, name this country like li.. li... lišsennnsein..."
"Yeeeeah, duuuuuuuude. Groooooovy.
And then afterwards, when they had sobered up, they couldn't come up with anything better so they just added some random c's and h's and t's to make it look official.
Yeah, I'm sure that's how it went.

Umm.. the school theater night thingy is on thursday. I have nearly three lines!
Well actually, more like a line and then two words (Exactly! and Why?)
You win the female lead once and they never let you into the spotlight again ...

OHMYGOD, I JUST LIKE WENT TO SENOR GIF TO FIND SOME FUNNY SHIT TO POST AND GUESS WHAT WAS ON THE FIRST PAGE AS THE VERY FIRST THING?!?!?!

TELL ME THAT'S NOT CHANNEL TWO REPORTER AND THAT THOSE CAPS BEHIND HIM DON'T STATE POLITSEI.

that's just surreal.
WE'RE FAMOUS FOR REALLY STUPID PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK A MICROPHONE IS!
woohoo! :D
no but seriously, it's past midnight and I have a major headache and goodnight.

Max.

Max was put down yesterday.
It was a wonderful 15 years, that he spent with me but now his journey has come to an end and I'm glad. I'm glad I don't have to watch him suffer every day anymore. I'm glad I don't have to hear my grandmother and grandfather yelling to each other about it.
I'm glad I don't have to wtach him fall down the few steps ha has to make to get outside.
I'm glad I don't have to hear his pain.
I'd much rather remember the happy times.

Rest in peace, Max. 1994-2010

Always in our hearts. ♥

Fresh noms and chessire cats!

So last time I made one of those megapost thingies I thought to myself: from now on I'll start making shorter posts more frequently. Whenever something happens, I'll post.
Ha.
Ha.
Ha.
I suck at keeping promises to myself.
I. Suck.
Anyways.

Andyes I started with that post like ages ago.
*meh*
kayso from the beginning. Right.

Mom learned how to make bread. Like real bread. And god is that the most delicious thing ever or what?!

three kinds with different stuff in 'em.
Meat one, which was extremely delicious if a bit salty and sort of soggy. Still amazing. Got eaten before the day was up (Which is quite the feat seeing as she took them out of the oven around 8 or 9 pm.)

One with seed thingies in it (Why yes, my vocabulary is indeed very diverse today, thankyou.)
This is my personal favourite, also eaten super-quickly.

and then the last one, with fruit bits in it. The fruit bit thingies were soaked in Vana Tallinn beforehand so the bread had quite the bitter taste to it. Not very popular with the crowd. Come to think of it, some of it could still be in the cupboard (It's over two weeks old but y'know...)

And once you have some bread then the only natural next step is to make some white bread aswell.

Steaming hot white bread, straight out of the oven... Add some nutella and you've got yourself a foodgasm.
And like 10 minutes before I took that picture, that bread was about twice as long as it is on the pic. As you might guess, by now it's only a very distant memory.

So, from food topics straight to Halloween.

As you might remember, I decided to go as the Chesire cat.
And if you must see the darn pictures that I took after the party (sorry, but I totally forgot to take any pictures while at Ailis. But I can tell you this much : Aili went as Mother Nature, with all sorts of flowery thingies in her hair and around her neck and some butterfly hairclip and stuff.
Jane went as a vampire. Awesomest black wig I've ever seen, pretty much as long as my own hair.
Birgit as the sleepy head? Unemati in our language :D - wearing her PJs and all. And obscene amounts of glitter.
And then Kati as a porcelain doll.
And me... Well fine, if you must see ...
Yes those black lines under my nose are trying to be whiskers but after spending like 4 hours at aili's they are sort of faded and just look riddiculous. And yeah, I have a tail.
And no you won't get a better picture because I look like an idiot on all the others. Not just like an idiot, like an idiot with a moustache. which is so not cool if it's not intentional and if you aren't wearing a bad-ass scarf and hat thing.

Also you might notice that unlike the chesire cat, I don't have a mile-wide smile. I tried that but I just never could see a smile in all that makeup. Well judge for yourself.

Just looks awkward to me. I'm having a very hard time seeing that as a smile rather than just some fucked-up joker thing on my face.

Why so serious?

After that came Kaja and Ken. Like about half an hour after I got back from the party.
♥♥♥ awesome.
Anyway, this time I'm not going to force like a six billion pictures of Katja down your throats. Mainly because I simply didn't take any pictures because you see, I'm an idiot.
There you have it.

But I am going to show you a picture of my new phone, which is incidentally Ken's old phone.
You know one mans junk, another mans treasure, yada yada

Nokia n96. First of all it's awesome.
Second of all, it's a nokia again, which is great. I was getting fed up with how the samsungs phone batteries last approximately 2 seconds before you have to recharge them. Again.
Third of all I can finally actually put music and stuff on my phone. Not that I've ever missed that particular feature, but y'know, it's still awesome. Something new.
Ken also decided that I need an instruction manual to go with it. Since there isn't one on paper in estonian he printed one out for me.
All two-hundred pages of it. There go the amazon rainforests...
Also I don't get how anyone could possibly ever use all the darn features described in that thing. It will probably always be one of lifes great mysteries for me.
What else, what else...

Well nothing much I guess.
Ooh 'cept I found the awesomest music video of all times. OF ALL TIMES!

That's just way more powerful than I thought it would be.
and y'know that's it for today.
bye!

-Kelly

P.S if you really-really want a better picture of the costume then I could probably pull it on again for a little photoshoot.
P.S.S Three pictures of me in one post. Is it some sort of a holiday?
P.S.S.S Pat, in case you didn't get my message on MSN, picture of the warrior costume thingy, naooooo. (=

I saw many purple shirts walking around the school today and while I'm not certain all of them were for the cause, some of them had to be.
Thank you!-Kelly

Halloween

So you're probably thinking "What's with the sudden onslaught of new posts?" yeah I was just thinking the same thing.
'nyway.
Halloween is coming and this time the parteh is hosted by Aili.
And I'm trying to figure out who to go as.

My first thought was NCIS as that's the show I've been watching most lately but since there are only normal people and while I would love to go as Abby there is no way I could pull of that look.

soyeah, NCIS is out of the question.
Stargate?

Wraiths? no.
Asgard? =_= no.
Unas? no.
Ori? Too much make-up
Nirrti? Hum.. that is actually a pretty good idea
But where would I get those crazy-ass clothes?
Ooh, I could go as Teal'c.
Or Vala, she's always awesome.
*gigglesnort* yeahright.
Teyla? I'm not even gonna GO there.
I could go as Urgo, I've get the personality for it...
y'know what? I'll go as Ronon.
Word man.

Moving on. Doctor who?
Oooooh the weeping angels would be EPIC but it's sort of hard to dress as stone.
Maaan Dr who has awesome villains but they are so damn hard to imitate.
Most require extensive makeup and funky clothes
Of course I'd love to go as my all-time-favourite Dr who villain, The Master...
...But I think you can see my problem.
Neeeext.

Sanctuary?

But before I go on to that here's another character that's one of my favourites but whose awesomeness I could nevre, ever pull off:

So. Anctuary
Kali was beyond awesome but didn't wear clothes much.
Ooh, nubbins were cute.
But I'm not going to walk to Ailis place in a giant furry coat.
no way, no how.
Meh, nevermind
sanctuary is the same as Dr who.
Awesome beyond words but to get that whole awesome thing going on, you have to invest a lot of money and time.

what else, what else, what else...
Disney, like last year?

meh.

I absolutely adored Tim Burtons alice in wonderland, though.

The white queen
abso-fucking-lutely gorgeuos and there is no way in helll heaven or earth I can pull that off. None. Zip, Zilch.
Red queen has been done by birgit last year...
And then my all time favourite (Ever since I first read Alice in Wonderland) :
The chessire cat
But that would mean that I'd have to cover my entire face in pink and purple.

Ooh also the mad hatter is awesome but let's be honest no one can pull that off
And I mean no one
cept for Johnny Depp, obv.

DOWN WITH THE BLOODY BIG HEAD!

Anyone else have great ideas?
